Karen Walrond
Karen Walrond is BBEARG’s senior director of creative and content and global. She’s also a lawyer, a leadership coach, an activist, a sought-after speaker, and the author of several books— including The Beauty Different, The Lightmaker’s Manifesto, and the soon-to-be-released Radiant Rebellion: Reclaim Aging, Practice Joy & Raise a Little Hell—and the award-winning blog Chookooloonks, a lifestyle, inspiration, and photography destination. She’s trained as a Dare to Lead Facilitator, has appeared on Unlocking Us with Brené, and has seen her work featured on PBS, Huffington Post, CNN, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. She and her family reside in Houston, Texas.
